Ep05 - Agency or in-house – what makes the better PR?

“Those who can do, those who can’t, teach” is often, unfairly said about educators. And, similarly about consultants! In the world of comms and corporate affairs, there is a steady exchange of people between consultancy and in-house roles, with some making the transition several times throughout their careers. To what extent is it desirable for people to switch – for their careers and their employer?  And, can you ever be considered a ‘good PR person’ if you’ve never worked for a PR agency?

What is your experience of working with in-house staff or consultants in the comms and PR world? Do you prefer one arrangement over the other? What are the advantages and disadvantages? We’d love to hear from you. Get in touch on social media or email podcast@apellaadvisors.com
